I boutght this camera for business – field inspector requested a small camera with great resolution to fit his shirt poket. This camera answer his request. However, for big hands controls are little bit too close together.
Some items in “delax” accessory kit are useless – toy tripod, for example or a cleaning kit. We still could not figure out how the memory reader works.
Camera itself makes desent pictures.

The Camera is Great, the kit accessories were great except for the screen shields, they did not hold well to the camera’s lcd screen, that was the only accessory i did not use. the value was good if you planned on buying all the accessories listed separately.

I was very pleased not only with this Sony camera and the quality of the pictures it takes, but mainly about the fact that this kit brought more components than what it’s described on the advertisement and they were all Sony products.

Hi, in fact I don’t know so much about digital cameras, but I do know Sony brand it’s great. Well, when I got my package, a little box full of filled plastic bags, i begin to see a lot of items includes in this kit, from lens cleaners to card reader and a little smile appear on my face, wow, all this for just $250? Great. And now to the important think, the W290 blue. . .
It’s a very nice camera, the LCD it’s bigger than all others ones, it’s a bright screen, sharp colors and very intuitive buttons, may be too small for someone, but it’s fine. The battery take 5 hours to complete charge that let me take about 250 images and a 4 minutes video. One of the main thinks about this camera is the Zeis Optical, I knwe them so I’m sure it’s perfect couple with Sony’s electronics.
Well, I’m going to take some pictures outside to use the Macro function and to see how do this camera “feel” the enviroment colors.
