  1. It was received and works as expected. Its nice to have a battery that actually lasts again. My first one (same brand different type) lasted 5 years, so I’m very satisfied!

  2. I had been getting frustrated with my Kodak EasyShare not being able to hold a charge. A friend suggested it needed a new battery. I got these for Christmas and now my camera is back to its like new performance! :-)

  3. Despite being a recommended add-on for the Easyshare C180 camera, this battery pack is in fact not compatible with that model of camera! This battery pack includes a plastic housing enclosing two normal sized AA rechargeables, and the Easyshare C180 does not have a “slot” for the housing. Kodak’s website provides compatibility information:

  4. The only reason I bought this overpriced battery is because the docking station that Kodak sells its customers “knows” when aftermarket rechargeables are being used and will not charge them. The docking station transfers images from your camera to your computer and also charges your Kodak only batteries. So, what I ended up doing was buying one Kodak rechargeable to charge with the docking station while transferring prints to the computer and then carry the Kodak battery as a spare. With the cost difference I was able to purchsase several non name rechargeable similar batteries and a charger and they work just as fine as this very overpriced Kodak battery and the aftermaket charger charges the aftermarket batteries faster yet just as well as the Kodak product. So Kodak, in your efforts at bilking your customers your battery got relegated to backup status and your docking station will be tossed when it breaks and I will transfer images with a regular ole USB plug and charge your Kodak battery in a perfectly functional American made charger. When your battery no longer accepts a charge I will toss it over the fence at the Al Gore compound and let it begin the end of the known world.

  5. It is great when the product you order is the product you get. This battery replaced the original in the camera we have. Out of the package and into the camera ready to use. Already charged, easy to open package, original Kodak product so the warranty is intact.
